Bristol Dock Shuttle
Proposal by Springboard Design Ltd
A unique, quiet and beautiful solution to connect two halves of a city divided by water.
With the SS Great Britain on the south side and Explore@Bristol on the north side, Bristol docks (and a walk of just under a mile) separates two of the city’s most visited attractions.
Springboard Design’s Dock Shuttle concept would provide a quick, safe and exciting crossing for foot passengers, pushchairs, wheelchair users and bikes, cutting the journey time to a matter of minutes.
Commuting time would be drastically cut for those living and working on opposite sides of the dock.
