The Power of Plants exhibition

Client: Warwick District Council

This exhibition looks at the diversity of the plant kingdom, the materials, foods and medicines we get from plants and their place in world trade. To reflect this we were keen to build as much of the exhibition as we could from plant based materials.

We designed information panels for each section of the display and these were then printed on cotton canvas banner material. We then designed and built a rigid bamboo structure in which to house the whole exhibition, which is located within a modern sub-tropical glasshouse in Jephson Gardens, Leamington Spa.

Springboard worked with the Council’s horticulturalists to devise the content of this lottery funded exhibition, then handled all the 3D and 2D design and construction work and much of the photography.

We were subsequently commissioned to produced a 24 page brochure for the Council on the history of Jephson Gardens.
